New 50 Cent game on the way
Hip hop fans and gamers alike rejoice, for Vivendi have announced that a new 50 Cent game is in development, titled 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. In what must surely be the greatest videogame premise ever conceived, the game is a co-op third-person shooter set in the Middle East, with Fiddy and G-Unit taking down hordes of bad guys (probably terrorists!) after a diamond-encrusted skull of theirs is stolen. The rapper himself is said to have played a big part in plotting the game, being a fan of movies such as Blood Diamond.
The game is in development by UK-based Swordfish Studios, who last worked in the rather good PS2 FPS Cold Winter. It is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 and is expected by the end of the year.
