Konami announces Silent Hill Origins for PS2

PS2, PSP news by Matt Wadleigh on 24th January 2008

In a move that surprised only a few people, Konami announced today that Silent Hill Origins would be heading to the PS2. The game is a prequel to the very popular Silent Hill series and attempts to explain a lot of the oddities that gamers have been confronted with over the last four games of the franchise. After receiving good critical reception on the PSP (one of the few bright spots on a system that hasn’t been getting much attention lately), Konami decided to send this one to the PS2. No release date has been confirmed yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
