Silent Hill Origins has a date

PS2 news by Matt Wadleigh on 1st February 2008

Konami announced earlier this morning that the port of Silent Hill Origins to the PS2 will be released this upcoming May. While the storyline will follow the PSP version (you play as a trucker who winds up in Silent Hill making a “routine” delivery), the PS2 port promises enhanced visuals and a “cineractive system that allows players to face down horrifying monsters while the control scheme changes intuitively for each situation” (so, basically, the QTE system from Shenmue and countless other games). Silent Hill Origins promises to be one of the best PS2 releases this year, so we’ll be sure to keep an eye on it. In the meantime, keep your eyes focused on these new screens of the PS2 version in action.
