Red Faction 3 in development

THQ has confirmed that long-overdue sequel Red Faction 3 is in development for PS3, 360 and PC.

The game is in development with Volition - who brought us enjoyable GTA clone Saints Row and are currently working on Saints Row 2 - and should be with us before April 2009.

Nothing else has been confirmed at this point, although hopefully the much-touted but ultimately under-utilised Geo-Mod technology will be back with a vengeance. We’ll keep you posted.
