Yep, we’ve been a lazy little lot here at Thunderbolt lately, me included, so here’s a stack of news about Codemasters up-and-coming masterpiece Colin McRae Rally 2005, which includes the complete-and-confirmed car list, a few screenshots and a link to download the video for your viewing pleasure…

The steering wheel-gripping heart of Colin McRae Rally 2005 is the all-new Career Challenge, which takes players through a full professional rally career, driving the most diverse selection of rally cars. An incredible 23 individual rally events provide a personal challenge with real progression and rewards through a non-linear series of Challenges, Cups, SuperCups, Shields and Championships as you earn the right to complete with the very best.

You start out, as always, the young rookie with a point to prove, and progress onto more powerful cars during your career. Through 23 events you’ll race in 300-plus stages in the cars mentioned below and take part in ‘tests’ to win new upgrades to make your car the best in the world. Beyond the joys of the Career mode are the 4-WD Championships, Rally, Stages and the Online game modes!
