I tried rewatching Sliders not too long ago. No wonder I didn't do much to keep up with it, by Season 3 the show sucked ass.

Yeah I remember it drawing out pretty bad. Happened to a lot of shows though. X-Files turned into a boredfest near the end as well.

    OH SNAP

There were a lot of guilty pleasure shows back in the '90s, like this one:

Yeah she was my only favorite character in that entire franchise. I mean it was cool that Xena knew how to fuck people up with pressure points but Callisto just blew things up.

I'm going to rewatch Millenium. I remember having an idea of what was going on when I was a kid, but I wanna see what stuff I can now pick up on.

Gotta love the guitar and Mainframe. It looks so outdated but retains some of the charm from when I first watched it.

Beast Wars to date is still my fav Transformers show. Was really disappointed with how Beast Machines was done..

Was Beast Machines the one where the location and planet were all metal, cold and grey and everything was more grim and tasteless or am I thinking of another one entirely?

Don't know if these have been mentioned yet but:

And I think of the '80s.

I could watch it for the intro alone...

It was a sequel to Beast Wars where the Maximals return to Cybertron but Megatron beat them to it. Ended up where Cybertron was transformed into a lush green planet of plantlife.

Ah... saw the intro and it's... different. And how does a technological city turn into a nature-filled habitat?
Just how could it go from Beast Wars to Beast Machines?

Agree with you on Beast Wars being the best, still can't believe the change.

If we're talking actually teenage years then probably The Simpsons, Futurama, Scrubs and Friends. Other than that I can't remember watching a whole lot of TV, I was probably creating a kickass master league team on Pro Evo 2. Other than the two mentioned the only cartoon that took my (although brief) interest was Yu-Gi-Oh! The Egyptian bit got me and certain parts when he was in like paradoxs or 4th dimensions. OH! I used to love that show were the main guy get's tomorrows newspaper with the cat and he obviously starts trying to prevent shit.

If we're talking pre-teen then I would say

    Hang Time
    Fresh Prince
    Saved By the Bell
    Recess (!)
    Hey Arnold
    Power Rangers
    Pokemon
    Rugrats
Sister-Sister was always on but I fucking hated it. I don't know who kept watching it.
Sabrina (used to really like the aunts)
    Even Stevens (probably early teen?)
    Looney Toons

I also used to watch Breaker High. I used to think I made this show up. I forget it's name and described it to people but no one fucking watched it. It had a young Ryan Gosling in it.

I liked the story structure of Beast Machines, forgot how and why they had to fill the planet with wildlife, I just didn't like how they ditched a lot of the humor and awesome dialogue that they cultivated in Beast Wars. Also, Rat Trap got jipped in that series. He was a bad ass in Beast Wars and then they downgraded him into a lowly hacker.
