Jesus tittyfucking Christ that looks good.

So it takes place in the same universe as Oblivion then? But not the same locale obviously

This looks like I could sink at least 50 hours into it and not scratch the surface.

Yes, like all Elder Scrolls games it's still set on the continent of Tamriel, but this time taking place in the province of Skyrim which is directly north of Cyrodiil (which is the province where Oblivion was set).

It's a shame cyrodiil looks like the coolest province, and it's already been used up. But actually, the trailer seems like they've used good sense and made it awesome anyway, and not just a snowy hell hole. Some of the villages look to-die-for. Also, seems dark brotherhood is in this game in a big way.

But this game will rock my world. There's no way it can't.

Okay, yeah, that looooks pretty awesome.

Although, I'd rather wait for Fallout 4 to inevitably be built on the same engine...

Looks amazing. All the ingame stuff was from 360 version as well.

Honestly haven't been this hyped in a long time. I was scared the game would just be like oblivion but with lots of snow. But seeing those rocky coasts and forests completely blew my mind. Also the animation seems to be tons better which was the biggest gripe I had about the past games. Can't wait to start a rogue character and start sneaking around at night :).

oooo, that's cool. I assumed I was looking a bull-shit, super high end PC footage, that it would only look like that for about 2% of the people who played it. If that's 360 footage I'm very happy.

Yeah, but in this more detailed map you can see there's still plenty of rivers and lakes in Skyrim too.

I think I'm gonna have to buy Oblivion again over summer and start all over again, I still had loads to do in it but just fell out of love with it.

Yeah I am half tempted to barrow my sisters disk. I never finished the shivering Isles expansion. I just have this sudden urge to explore dungeons and caves.

Potentially the best game ever? Oblivion's certainly in my top five or so, and if that features list from the first page is realised it could be absolutely incredible.

Even if it's just Oblivion but like the above screenshots it's a must-buy.
