Will likely do that then, unless I feel inspired to play the same game three times for the purposes of some poorly-written plot.

The most impressive aspect of this series is how they actually managed to turn it around from the first game's criticism.

There's a honking great hint that this was going to be the setting for the next Assassins Creed game at the end of Brotherhood. Makes me wonder if they needed more time to make it and having knocked out two in two years wnated it as a yearly franchise so cobbled together Revelations. Which I do still really like, but it's not as full a game as the two previous by any means.

I have a feeling GTA V will get pushed back, but either way this is one of my most wanted games of 2012. I've already told the missus that i'm buying it as I don't fancy waiting till Christmas for it like I did with Brotherhood & Revelations.

GTA hasn't been announced for a launch window, so it can't really be pushed back :p

Yeah, this is a day-one for me. Love the unique character and as far as I know the period's never been done right in games. Jamestown aside. :p

Other than in RTS games :p

Imagine there's some of those but none I've played. Never went for the self-serious RTS, as much as like the genre, and History.

Also I'm a hypocrite and will probably go back and finish another one of them now, also. :p

Nothing else to play and only a couple small-ish reviews to do, at the moment.

Might have to dip into Assassin's Creed II and finish that out soon. This looks wonderful - fast becoming my most wanted game and I'm usually anti-hype with these far-out releases.

Looking good. I'm pleased I skipped Revelations otherwise I would be burnt on on Assassin's Creed come November.

I actually know very little about this period in American history so I'm looking forward to the game acting as a substitute history teacher, just like Assassin's Creed II taught me a little about renaissance Italy. Okay, it taught me Italian swearwords and that's about it. :D

As seeing as this is something I'm studying at the moment, so I'm looking forwards to it.

My most wanted game of 2012. I can't wait.

Even after the last 3 years of Assassin's Creed games, I still want more. It's definetly becoming one of my favourite game series/franchises. I have all 4 of the Novels too.

They look pretty cool, doubt I'll get one though. Wonder if the single player DLC is exclusive to the special editions or if you can buy it too.

IIRC, the single-player DLC for the last three games were all released on XBL and PSN.

I'm helping to unite it. I've just tweeted it and posted it to facebook.
