I used to own it. It's a pretty and unique game, but the gameplay is really mediocre. The concept is pretty cool, you absorb the souls of various folk - monsters - and each one gives you a new action. You assign each face button with an action and then can chain them together for various effects.

Level progression and combat are just really monotonous though. It's a game I really wanted to love.

Yeah, I picked it up and I'm playing through it right now. I love the idea of the two characters, but I'm not looking forward to replaying the same things over again with Ellen instead of Keats. It seems like false padding.

Still, I love the art/soundtrack/concept. Good find for under twenty bucks.
