Who is going to this. If you have seen it don'yt post. I read the reviews and they are saying it is much better than the first. I really like the marvel comics. I read them when i was young and i am getting back into them. XMEN where always my favourites.

Man i have Wolverines Revenge already and am half way through it. If you are like me and are an XMEN buff then u will love it. It has all the classic gameplay, Your attack moves/combo's, stealth attacks, magic (more a beserk) and so on.... I like it anyway. It is only 30 in GAME, the cheapest i have found anywhere.
I just had a brainstorm man, wot do u think the chances of swapping games in our clan?. I dunno, wot do u think?

Well as lond as Philip has everones address and all, i would be up for it. I have about like 30 games so they are just gathering dust so someone might as well play or just test out a game before they pay like £30/40 for it.

You have never seen my collection. When i beat a game man, i put the seal u get on the side of it again so it never gets opened. The only game of mine that is sractched to hell is The Thing and that was because my G/F let her wee cousin play it and he decided he would drop it on the carpet, then kick it later on when he got up, it is a mess but still plays. I cracked up. Also i still havent opened the books u get with your Xbox :P
Can never treat them without respect. Man seriously if u want me to post you XMEN i dont mind, i am concentrating on Genma Onimusha and Morrowind, plus Ghost Recon and Unreal Tournament!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just say Melt, no big deal,
King

Fianl Fantasy on the PS2. I liked the first one because you could play a feature in it which was snowboarding down a hill, class :P

yeah on the ps2. I loved FF7 that was just great. The most exciting part for me was changing the disks.

:P Fool! :P
I saw Xmen 2 a couple of days ago, and despite almost being upstaged by a jaw dropping matrix reloaded trailer, it was really cool.
Watch out for a cool cameo by colossus, and Wolverine finally kicking some ass big game style. Also, it's good to see the Jean Grey/Phoenix thing starting off - any real Xmen fan out there will no exactly what i mean.
X2 the game is pretty cool albeit plagued by all the usual 3D action adventure title problems. It has shoddy camera control, a very generic combat system that involves lots of hitting square and a stealth kill concept ripped strrrrrrrraight out of tenchu, but i still like it. It's faithful to the comics rather than the movie and it's fun to play.
I've got a typically in depth/long winded review only days away, and i'm currently torn between a 6/7 final score...
king, i guess you'll be the first to comment when i post it in the staff forum!!! I hope so anyway :)

S**t talking of the matrix reloaded trailier i shouted f**k me in the cinema when i saw it. It looks bloody fantastic. Sorry about the language but hell what a movie that is going to be.
if you want to get REALLY excited - go to the shop and buy the latest copy of EMPIRE - it's got tonnes and tonnes of matrix stuff, and it's mostly spoiler free too!!!
I have the 100MB trailer, lol, it's 1000 by 600 pixels 8)
yeah, you can download it from the official site :)

Jim man, i have played XMEN for about 3 hrs. Yeah i see the similarites between it and Tenchu. But nowadays i dont think there is many different concepts a game can take the form of. It is a good game, but scored not so well with other reviewers. I havent beat the game yet, it is Fecking difficult believe me. A normal 1 maybe 2 nights has beat most games i have ever played and this will take me longer than that. It seems to have a happy medium between graphics and lifespan. Like James Bond: NightFire, it had stunning graphics, but it was soooo short. And also games like Morrowind (Outstanding game) that scarificed graphics to give us a long lifespan.
It has alot of unlockables and the choice between stealth (I prefer) or Mohan (rambo!) style attack crazy with the claws. If u know the comics, like the cartoon, then u will like this game. I will be happy jim to read yoyur review/preview of the game,
King
that's what I love about Ghost Recon, the ability to choose betwen stealth and gung-ho :)

In mostly any game being realesed now, the developers are putting in that feature. It is going to be mandatory pretty soon for a game, to increase this also, some games are going to introduce mods to perfect your gaming style, be it Gun-ho (Mohan) or sneaky (King)

Well, i'm not so sure about X2:WR, King. I think it's very average but it's with Wolverine. If it wasn't with wolverine, was with some other made up dude, i don't think i'd give it a second glance. That's the problem.
I used to rush through games too, but now i've seen so much over the years it takes ALOT to impress me. The last game i knuckled down on was GTAIII, since then i can give or take most games and like to have a dozen or so on the go all the time.
I'm currently playing alot of Def Jam Vendetta - just to unlock al the hidden characters and what have you - but i'm waiting for NBA street vol 2 to appear. Man that's going to rock. I was playground b-ball king some 15 years ago, when the likes of Earvin Johnson and Larry Bird were house hold names (and Dr. J was about to retire and MJ was... young...)
Back to X2:WR though, i guess it's all about what you're into. I don't like combat systems which essentially revolve around hitting square alot. But, at the same time, it's very X-Men, so i guess it was there for the fans.
hmmm, i'm going to be thinking hard about this over the next couple of days...
I'm currently playing alot of Def Jam Vendetta
Review?!? :)

Yeah Jim, where is the review?.
I am on the same wave length here man, it does take alot to impress me, and GTA III impressed me. I also have about 4 games on the go, Morrowind (still doing ALL the side quests), Genma Onimusha, Ghost Recon (Unlocking the guns), XMEN and Deathrow which i havent even opened and i bought it like 3 weeks ago!!!!!!!. If anyone has payed Morrowind, i think it was the last real game that really impressed me, it is seriously massive.

If you have already seen X2 and simply can't wait 6 - 8 months for the DVD, then check this page out. http://www.videocd2000.com/free.htm
Hold on King - are you talking about the XBox version of X2:WR?
I'm talking about the PS2 version, which i've already got (thanks for the PM though), so i can't comment on the XBox one...
Anyway - NBA street vol 2 arrived this morning, and of course we've all got to get all our games playing out of the way before the Matirx comes out next week...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh i see Jim. Well no big deal anyway man. To clear things up in the future i will only be talking about Xbox reviews, previews and all. Since it is the mastert machine i dont see the reason for spending anymore money on my PS2,
King :P
P.S What do u think of XMEN Jim?
I think it's very average, but fun because it's the Xmen. My review for the PS2 game is going to be a 6/7er...
I'm a PS2 only boy coz...
a) I've got 6 mates locally with PS2s and we regularly get together to play loads of PES2
b) I was a PSX faithful and as such really like the controllers. The XBox controller bugs me as much as the Dreamcast one did...
c) I'm not big up into online play since my time is very sporadic these days.
d) My PS2 is chipped, which means i get alot of games as soon as they are out stateside. If i went with that on XBox i'd have to forgo the option to play online...
e) You can't get PES2 or GTA on Xbox (although i'm sure that's only a temporary situation...)
f) 2 years from now the next big thing'll be out, so i don't think it's very good value for money buying a console with a lifespan of less than 3 years :)
of the top of my head!!!
I'm sure you can shoot my arguments down, so go ahead!

Yeah man i feel what u are saying. All valid points. But if someone was to buy a console now, i think the Xbox would be the way to go.
I have a PS2 but it has dust on it, might sell it though............................................ ........................................
i'll give you that, if i had to start a new it'd be a real tricky one...
