Hi all, I'm new here - go easy!
Anyway, I was wondering what XBL game to go for next. I like playing Mechassault the demo. What happens if you buy the full game, I mean what else is there to the game? Andare there enough people playing it? Coz there is normally hardly anyone on the Mechassault demo - are full game and demo players segregated?
Is NFL any good? And what about Sega Sports NHL 2K3? There's some guy on ebay selling it, claims it is out already, but I haven't seen it anywhere? Is this true or just a load of bull?
Cheers

Hey, welcome to the forums.
There is no problem whatsoever in finding Mechassault games, since it's the most widely-played game on Xbox LIVE (according to GamertagDatabase.com's statistics). As far as the game goes, it's only worth buying it if you have XBL, which I presume you have. It's fairly good fun - nice and simple, easy to pick up, but can get old. Maybe that's just me though :P .
What other XBL games have you got? If you haven't got Ghost Recon yet, you're seriously missing out, and Unreal Championship is also good fun. I don't know about the Sega Sports or NFL - I haven't played them yet.
Hope this helps.

Hi Philip,
Hmm...I may invest in Mechassault then - need to give this one some thought.
I've updated my profile to show my XBL games.
Are you on Live? What's your gamertag?
Yes, Ghost Recon is too good, I have been know to play it until 4.30 am.....I am always tired these days and maybe my work is suffering as a result! It's good to play the Yanks as they are just logging on at around that time.

I don't know if it is available where you guys live but Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and 2 comes out here in two days. I'm really looking forward to this game. I've seen some screen shots and i've heard it described as a cross between final fantasy and everquest. Although their approach with this game has a drug dealer feel to it as the first two months are free but after that you have to pay $8.95 a month. For more information and screen shots check out http://www.xbox.com/pso2/default.htm?cs_catalog=cat%2dus
I own NFL2K3 and I really like it. I haven't played very much of it on XBL but it is the best football game i've ever played.
I live in Canada and NHL2K3 is available here. I was at the shop today and decided to pick up Conflict Desert Storm instead of NHL2K3. Do not buy CDS. The only way to describe it is as a poor mans Ghost Recon. I give the game a 4 out of 10.

Homeless Pie, I almost bought Conflict DS instead of Ghost Recon. From what I have heard, it is not that bad a game, though I suppose there is no Live support and Ghost Recon is a real gem.
Melt24, does that mean that you actually already have Moto GP2 ? Or you will get delivered it on the actual release date? Is there already Live support for it?
Yeah, Conflict: Desert Storm. I got it for PS2. It's a good game, but looks bad when compared to Ghost Recon. Damn that game is good.
