Apart from Phil, who else has admin rights on here?
My Pembury Forum is a sub-directory off of this one and it's been getting some odd people join it that I have deleted within 24 hours of them joining.
If you look at the members list, they join with a user name that is random characters. But they nearly always put a website address in to tempt people to click on to their site from the profile.
I've locked down the joining now to 'Admin' rather than 'User' it doesn't stop them appearing in the members list, but at least you get an email when they add themselves in.
Not for me to say, but I would suggest someone carefully prunes the odd ones out of the membership database. Should be easy enough to spot them, zero posts for instance....
