PRESS RELEASE

CLAN RECRUITER ANNOUNCED

Kent, UK – 29th December 2003 – The Thunderbolt Network is pleased to announce the website Clan Recruiter. The site is currently in development and should launch in early March.

In online and LAN games, players group together in teams called ‘clans’. Clan Recruiter (www.clanrecruiter.net) is a website that helps clans to find players and players to find clans. Currently, clans recruiting players have to use forums, in-game chat and word of mouth, which is hardly ideal. Clan Recruiter changes this by providing a central place where clans can go to list themselves and find available players, while free players can pick a clan that suits them. Clan Recruiter is all about communication and community building within an accessible, user friendly website.

“With millions of people currently playing online games, Clan Recruiter has a huge target audience. No other website offers the same service on the same scale that we will,” said Philip Morton, director of The Thunderbolt Network. “Clan Recruiter is dedicated to matching players and clans, nothing else. This is no strap-on feature, this is the real thing. Clan Recruiter is committed to providing the best clan and player matching service on the internet and we are confident that we will succeed.”

Clan Recruiter plans to cover the following sixteen PC games and their respective expansions and modifications, with more to be added in the future:

HalfLife
Medal of Honor
Unreal Tournament
Unreal Tournament 2003
Unreal Tournament 2004
Battlefield 1942
Soldier of Fortune II
Warcraft 3
Halo
Return To Castle Wolfenstein
Quake III
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon
Vietcong
Call of Duty
Planetside

The site will be designed with expansion in mind, meaning that Xbox Live and Playstation2 Network Play games can be added.

Clan Recruiter will be launching in early March.
