What do you think of the GBA SP? (the top news story today)

I think it looks nice, and the backlight is a really good addition. I think it's the shape of handhelds to come.

It looks very very sexy! I like the chrome look! I just bought my gf the platinum one for xmas so now ill need to sell it on ebay quick and buy one of these! The recharable battarys and back light are an excellent addition! it looks a little chunky though! but beggars cant be choosers!

well i jst ordered a gba today so i can use it with my game cube.

but ill give it to my lil bro when the new one comes out, seeing as its his birthday a week after the new one comes out.

One of the things which bugs me about the game cube is that it's only a fraction as powerful as a mobile phone. The chipset they use is already 5 years too old!!?!?!

Rumour has it they held back the release for years coz of the sales on pokemon!!!

Anyway, i might have to buy a GC when the new pokemon games come out!?!?!?!?!?!

well i hated the show but the games are top notch.

its just classic videogame strategy- go around a world and collect monsters to fight and protect you.

amazon are doing a special on gold+silver for gameboy- both for just £16!

i ordered them, seeing as my mate spent £70 last year on them both...

I finished pokemon yellow and f*cking loved it. I've got 9 & 10 year old nephews, those kids these days no EVERYTHING about it.

although the biggest craze at the mo is yu-gi-oh - apparently that's the big one.

Oh, and i meant game boy not game cube in that earlier post :)

I just think it's out of order that there are so many games and merchandise - about 16 games, 5 movies, etc. It's just taking advantage.

well yes its annoying, but look at it from their point of view. its a formula that works, so obviously they are gonna try and make as much cash as possible from it.

and jim- im on pokemon yellow at the mo. im getting gold+silver as well!

Yeah, but IMO Pokemon is an OTT cash-in (sorry for all the abbreviations there :) )
