Thunderbolt's birthday giveaway

PC feature by Philip Morton - Thursday 18th November 2004

Thunderbolt will be 4 years old on Saturday, so we'd thought that we'd celebrate with a competition. Courtesy of Larrytech Internet Services, we're giving away a full year's hosting plan, providing one winner the means by which to get their own website up and running. All you need to do to enter is read through the following text and then answer a simple question on the following page (link at the bottom). The giveaway is open to all regions of the world. Good luck!

Founded by Lawrence Hardcastle in 2001, Larrytech is an independent Internet services provider. Originally just a website design company, Larrytech soon expanded to provide website hosting based on a reseller platform. They soon outgrew this, however, and clients' websites - including Thunderbolt - are now hosted on a dedicated server in a datacentre located in the USA.

With hosting packages featuring up to 1GB and beyond of web space, PHP support, mySQL databases, CGI, SSI, full statistical feedback, hundereds of email addresses and gigabytes of data transfer, Larrytech offers solutions for a whole range of requirements. Larrytech also offers broadband and dial-up Internet access at competative prices.

One lucky entrant will win Larrytech's Bronze hosting package, which retails for £59 ($100) per year. It provides 1 domain name, 50Mb of webspace, 1Gb of data transfer, PHP, mySQL, CGI, SSI, statistics and 2 email accounts.
