Free Radical couldn't have done better - they've done exactly what they wanted to do with the original TimeSplitters. They've produced a graphically superior, addictive game with tons of replay value. The humour and fun factor also stands out by a mile; what other game would you find a snowman gliding around on a flying carpet with a fire extinguisher? It beats Halo as an all-round package, with un-rivalled (offline) multiplayer. You'll be playing it for months and months, unlocking the 120 characters, extra levels and modes. There's also a map-maker to keep you occupied for another few months. A timeless classic, this can only be improved by adding an online play feature.
