Interview: Men Of Valor High Command

Last year, 2015 released one of the more exceptional World War II first person shooters – Medal of Honor Allied Assault – on January 22, 2002. on the anniversary of that release, Vivendi Universal Games announced the development of Men of Valor: Vietnam for the PC and the Xbox. Men of Valor: Vietnam, developed by 2015 and published by Sierra Entertainment, is a historical first-person shooter that portrays infantry combat during the Vietnam War. Combining the latest Unreal technology with the gameplay expertise of 2015, Men of Valor transports the player to the humid jungles of Southeast Asia in the most controversial conflict of the modern era.

Men Of Valor High Command, www.movhc.com is an unofficial community site for the game. We’ve got one of the site’s senior editors, Rob, here today to talk about the game and their site.

What are the main features of the High Command Men Of Valor website?

The idea of the MOV High Command website is for myself and Mike (Areswargod) to create a community to keep people informed with the latest developments of Men of Valor over the next year. Features before release will be updates on the latest news, interviews with developers and the latest screenshots. On the final release of the game we plan to cover all aspects of the game from clans, the modding scene, ladders and tournaments.

What community and clan support do you have planned?

With the help of our forums and clan recruitment system we will offer a lot of support for clans! Covering everything from recruitment, tournaments, ladders and server rentals. Thanks to the Skirmish www.theskirmish.com tournaments and gaming ladders will be created for the High Command community. We will also offer all we can regarding support for gaming problems and other issues that may come up with the final release by keeping in regular contact with developers and the MOV gaming scene.

Will you have any maps, mods or patches available to download from the site?

All the latest patches, maps, mods and other game related files will be available to the community on the time of release. We will do our best to be the first to know what’s going on in regards to the game. We hope to be hosting modding communities that are in development of the own versions of the game to keep the community close at hand with all that’s going on.

Will you have any game servers?

We will at the time of final release have public servers available thanks to ever growing support of our ideas by clan-servers staff member Rogue-T over at www.clan-servers.biz.

Are there any other High Command sites planned?

We are currently working on a new High Command community for the upcoming game Vietcong, this game being much closer at hand. The community for Vietcong will have basically the same elements we plan for MOV. Depending on the success of our 2 current projects the idea of new High Command communities is always a possibility for games that will be with us in the near future.

Thanks for your time
