’90s Theme Week: End of an era

Welcome to the third and final part of our trilogy looking back at video games in the ’90s. Previously, we’ve examined obscure fighting games, recalled our past gaming years, dug out memories of the Sega Saturn, revisited a rarity in the video game worl – the great movie tie-in True Lies, and continued to dust off and unearth a multitude of games and memories from yesteryear.

And we’ll be continuing this trend over the course of this week: The soundtrack to Namco’s cult horror will be torn apart, an old point’n’click adventure examined, some intergalactic fisticuffs will take place, and much more.

Make sure to come back each day this week as we continue to look back at a generation of gaming long gone, but not forgotten.
