Pokémon goes green again

Nintendo announce remakes of Pokemon Red and the Japan-only Pokemon Green for the Game Boy Advance.

It seems that you people can’t get enough of the global phenomenon that is Pokemon. Not content with just Ruby and Sapphire selling faster than hot cakes, Nintendo have decided to re-make Pokemon Red and Green.

Green was originally released in 1995, and was the first Pokemon game. It didn’t fair too well and the series was made to wait for Red and Blue before it finally went ballistic. Both games will link with Ruby, Sapphire and the upcoming Pokemon Colosseum for the GameCube, giving you access to hundreds of the little beggars.

Still gotta catch ’em all then.
