New PS2 titles in the works

The success of Naughty Dog’s Jak & Daxter left little doubt that a sequel would be released, and there are rumours flying around the net that next Monday, Sony plans to official announce the title. Jak & Daxter 2 will be shown to the press and it’s expected that SCEA will release details to the public.

Action nuts should expect an announcement on the next Syphon Filter game soon, though it is not expected to be shown at next Monday’s event. Recently SCEI also dropped hints on its online capabilities during a Japanese conference.

Also in the news, are reports that Castlevania will appear on Sony’s console this Autumn. Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo is developing the new game, with producer Koji Igarashi at the helm. KCET was behind Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, so gamers can look forward to the game’s unveiling at E3.
