Molyneux goes to the movies

Gaming Legend Peter Molyneux, the man behind Black and White, is one of the most influential people in the industry. His latest game, called The Movies, will see players running their own studio from the 1920s right through to the present day. It’s set to be released on PC, PS2, GameCube and Xbox.

All the way through you can choose between creating mammoth blockbusters or trendy indy flicks; picking scripts, directors and stars. You can then e-mail your film to your mates. Molyneux reckons there will be hundreds of thousands of these films going around once the game is released.

Unfortunately, Activision say that The Movies won’t be ready for at least nine months. In the meantime, take a look at these first screens.
