Mass Effect banned in Singapore

Mass Effect

Xbox 360 big Christmas title Mass Effect has been banned from being released in Singapore by the Media Development Authority of Singapore.

Apparently the decision was reached due to the game’s sex scene between a human female and an alien female. Reports from national paper The Straits Times claim the decision has ”caused an outcry among local and international gamers, who said it was too strict a decision.”

Other games which have previously been banned in Singapore include The Darkness for excessive religious expletives and God of War 2 for nudity.
