You may have seen the special Wireless Adapter that came with recent Japanese PokÈmon games. Well, the good news is that this cool peripheral will also be included with Mario Golf Advance Tour – although this has only been confirmed for the Japanese release so far.
Instead of being just a simple game of golf, Advance Tour has you raising a player and their partner and then playing them off against the competition. You can then transfer these characters to the GameCube to play in Toadstool Tour. By connecting the games you’ll also be able to open up new courses on the GBA title as well as transferring spectator comments and accessing more clubs.
Will the connectivity between Toadstool Tour and Advance Tour finally show the public that Nintendo’s ideas are worth taking seriously? We’ll have to wait until later this year to find out.
