Design your own EyeToy! game
Sony’s London Studio, creators of the EyeToy, are looking for game ideas for inclusion on their next compilation, EyeToy: Play 2. By heading to the official site” a <>you can download a design template and, by following a few small design criteria (such as actually using the camera…), you’ll be able to design your perfect EyeToy: Play mini game. You’ll need to submit your design via e-mail or post before Monday 6th January, when it’ll be judged by the London Studio team. Why enter? Well, the person who submits the best design will win themselves some Sony goodies, including an LCD TV and home cinema system, while ten runners-up will each bag themselves a copy of EyeToy: Groove.
However, that’s not all. Subject to the winning entry fulfilling certain criteria, the best design will be prototyped by the EyeToy team and included in EyeToy: Play 2, due for release at the end of next year. Should you be lucky enough to have your design selected for inclusion in the compilation, you will then have the chance to visit the studios to see your mini-game design being prototyped and developed.
Visit the new story on Sony’s very own t’internet site (yes, there are other videogames websites other than Thunderbolt, yet none match our style, content or sheer greatness…) and gather much needed entry info here.
