Apple Mac on the Battlefront

Aspyr Media announced today that Star Wars: Battlefront has shipped to retailers nationwide for Mac. The game will retain all of the multiplayer and single player options of the PC version. The game was licensed from LucasArts and developed for Mac by Beenox Studios.

Star Wars: Battlefront recreates many of the larger battles from the Star Wars universe. The game has 20 trooper types and 25 vehicles from the factions of the Rebel Alliance, Imperial Army, Clone Army and Droid Army. Star Wars: Battlefront has more than a dozen different battlefields, including Hoth, Geonosis and Endor.

Star Wars: Battlefront is rated “T” for Teen and is available on Mac for $49.99. The game is also available on PS2, PC, and Xbox.
